Shipping Policy 

STANDARD delivery option: Canadian orders take approximately 2-7 business days. US orders take approximately 3-10 business days. Specific time in transit for all other countries is quoted at the time of checkout. This option offers standard shipment tracking.

EXPEDITED delivery option:  Canadian orders take 1-5 business days. US orders take 2-7 business days. Specific time in transit for all other countries is quoted at the time of checkout. This option offers full tracking.

OVERNIGHT or 2 DAY delivery option: Please contact our office directly at 416.932.9322 to arrange for this type of shipping prior to ordering online. 

Tracking My Order:
When your order has been shipped, we will send you an email notification along with a tracking number.

Undelivered Orders:
Orders that are returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address provided will not be returned to the customer and will only be resent at the customer's expense. Additionally, orders that are abandoned by the customer for any reason will not be returned to the customer and will only be resent at the customer's expense. 

Lost Orders:
Orders that are undelivered and have not been returned to us will be considered lost.  We will resend the order at no additional charge once lost status has been determined.

Important: Shipments made outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination and is assessed by the shipping company's import broker.   Such duties and taxes are billed directly from the shipping company to the recipient and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Return & Exchange Policies

Our Policy:
This Is J does not have a retail location and therefore This Is J items can be bought 3 ways:

1. At an independent boutique that carries This Is J items;
2. At a craft show or holiday show where there is a This Is J booth;
3. Online at www.thisisj.com.

Independent boutiques:
Individual stores will have their own return policies that are specific to each business. This Is J items purchased from an independent boutique can only be returned directly to that boutique in compliance with their return/exchange policy.

Show Exchange Policy:
Items purchased from a This Is J booth at a craft show or holiday market are eligible for exchange only. Contact us within 30 days of your purchase to arrange to send it back. Exchanges can be made for other merchandise or an online credit can be issued for future use at www.thisisj.com.  Additional shipping charges and/or price discrepancies must be paid for prior to exchanged item being shipped out. Online Purchase Return/Exchange Policy:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the receipt of your purchase.  A copy of your original invoice is needed in order to refund or exchange your purchase.  A full refund or exchange is only provided if the merchandise is in its original condition.  There are no refunds on sale items.

Holiday Return/Exchange Policy: 

Please note, we extend our 30 day return and exchange policy to January 15th for any items bought between November 1st and December 15th as we are aware that many items are being given as gifts over the holidays.

All returns will be credited back to the original payment type.  Any shipping and handling fees incurred from an online order are non-refundable.  Please note that if you return merchandise without a receipt or invoice, we can only provide the last known value of the item in the form of a merchandise credit. 

Want something else? Contact us within 30 days of your purchase date to arrange to send it back.  Do not send any additional payment (such as a check or money order) to cover a price difference for an exchange.  If applicable, your original payment method will be credited for the difference when the exchange is processed.  Any additional method of payments received will not be processed and will be returned to you by mail.

Return Procedure:

1. Check to make sure that you are within the exchange, return or damage policy limit.
2. To ensure return accuracy, remember to enclose your invoice with your return.  Be sure to make a copy for yourself or write down the order number for future reference.
3. Return the merchandise to us using the carrier of your choice.  Be sure all return shipment costs are pre-paid and shipment is insured as we cannot exchange or credit orders that are not received back in original condition.

Terms and Conditions

Order Cancellation Policy:
Prior to shipment of your order, you may cancel your order at any time by emailing us@thisisj.com or calling 416.932.9322.  If your order has already shipped, you can return your order to us in accordance with our return policy.

Although it is rare that it would be necessary for This Is J to cancel an order, we reserve this right in addition to the right to not accept any subsequent orders from a customer should any of the following situations arise:

• An order cannot be processed due to an error in information you have provided, which may include, but is not limited to incorrect Credit Card number, expiration date or security code.
• Incorrect Billing information  (billing information you provide is different from information your financial institution has on record).
• Insufficient/Incorrect shipping address is provided (street address, city, state, zip or postal code).
• Fraudulent information, including previous fraudulent activity.
• Pricing, stock, or typographical errors.

Important Information Regarding Your Credit Card Order and Order Cancellation:

This Is J reserves the right to request additional evidence for proof of billing information and for your protection, your credit card order may be delayed while we confirm your billing information.

Coupon Policy

Your This Is J coupon card is redeemable for savings on online purchases atwww.thisisj.com.  Coupon codes are to be entered and applied when prompted during the shopping cart checkout process.  Promotional cards and coupon codes cannot be replaced of redeemed for cash.

Coupon codes valid for Free Shipping can be used for Standard Shipping only.  In any cases where Expedited Shipping is chosen during the shopping cart checkout, the difference in price between the Expedited Shipping charges and the Free Standard Shipping charges will be charged.

Privacy Policy

This Is J values our customers and respects their privacy.

All information gathered through thisisj.com, including shipping, billing, and credit card information are for the purpose of completing your transaction only.

We use your contact information to communicate with you regarding your order, as well as to communicate with you on occasion about our products and promotions.
