Sales Taxes & Duties

Canada

Sales tax is added automatically at checkout, based on the province or territory you're shipping to.

Outside Canada

No Canadian sales tax is charged, but you're responsible for any duties your local customs office may charge. With U.S. Flat Rate Shipping, all duties, taxes and brokerage are included.

Exchanges

Need a different size? Fill out our Returns & Exchanges Form, send the item back, and we'll cover the cost of shipping the new one to you. This is available to Canadian customers only for now.

We recommend using a tracking number when you send your item back. We can't guarantee we'll receive it and aren't responsible for lost packages.

International returns & exchanges: please mark the item as $0 value, being returned to its country of origin (Canada) for a return or exchange. Any duties or taxes caused by incorrect labelling will be deducted from your refund.

We currently ship within Canada, the US, Europe, and Australia.

That depends on where you live and the shipping you choose from the options available at the time of purchase.

If you live in Toronto and need a guaranteed next day courier delivery, please get in touch by email and we can accommodate a custom order for you. 

At this time, we do not offer a pick-up option.

We use Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator and FleetOptics in Canada and DHL/USPS in the U.S.

Of course! Just make sure you follow the following guidelines:

  • The item must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • The item must be in new, unworn and unwashed condition and have all the parts if there are multiple items in a set.
  • The item must have a valid This Is J sales receipt or invoice number
  • A return/exchange form must be filled out prior to shipping the item back. Visit Return and Exchange form page.

An item cannot be returned under the following conditions:

  • If the item was purchased in person at a show or event (exchanges only within 30 days).
  • If the item was purchased during a sample sale or sale that was advertised as “final sale”.
  • If the items has been worn and/or washed.
  • If the item was purchased more than 30 days prior.

We offer flat rate shipping on all orders across Canada and U.S. for Comfort Club Members. Members also qualify for free shipping depending on their member status. Your order will ship within 2-3 business days, provided all items are in stock. You will be notified via email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped. All orders ship from Toronto, Canada. Time in transit varies depending on delivery location, delays due to order volume, customs, and national holidays. Real time shipping options display at the time of purchase giving you rates and time in transit choices. Orders placed after 11:00am EST enter our system the following day.
